Hilary Duff's Wedding

This article actually started out being about celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss. I came across the most stunning pictures of a wedding on her website and just had to share it, but didn't know whose wedding it was... today i discovered it was the wedding of 22 year old actress Hilary Duff to her hockey player beau, Mike Cromie. In August 2010, the couple exchanged vows at La Quinta Estate in Montecito, California.

For the ceremony, which took place in the evening, Hilary wore a mermaid-style Vera Wang gown with her hair swept up in a chic chignon to show off her dazzling Van Cleef and Arpels diamond jewelry. Her sister Haylie, served as maid-of-honor and wore a one-shouldered oyster coloured Vera Wang dress.

The reception, held under a wooden pergola, was draped with metres of white muslin cloth and decorated with drippings of greenery, glass lanterns and fresh roses. The three-tiered wedding cake, by Fantasy Frostings, was garnished with roses instead of frosting to give it a vintage feel.
A dessert station featuring ice cream sandwiches with hot fudge dipping sauce was a highlight of the evening. Following the reception guests entered a disco area in an upstair courtyard and danced until the early hours of the morning. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas.

From the stunning glass hanging lights to the adorable rose patterned lighting on the dance floor and the romantic hurricane lanterns... all the amazing details were perfectly planned by event stylist to the stars Mindy Weiss. This is beyond stunning!
